(( Make sure your OOC is well marked, Domo. XD And I don't mind at all. ))
Krepta was silent for a moment, watching the man cautiously. He had all the marks of a hero, but he was no hero she had ever heard of. What if he was here to destroy what she had found? No, that was unlikely. It could be a coincidence, but at the same time, even if it was, it could be someone wanting to use the creatures to their advantage. She shifted uncomfortably. "Who are you anyhow," she answered at last. Or rather, the real question was, what was he? She glanced back towards the building, dark and still in the Gotham night. "Do you work with anyone?" If he worked with someone, especially someone more in the public eye, he would have an ID of some kind. She would know most of those IDs from her heroing days, and a criminal wasn't likely to carry around a fake one. Things couldn't be that different here, could they?
The other hero went unnoticed. Krepta's attention was zeroed in on the strange little colorful man before her. He almost looked like he had dealings with the Joker. He acted a little like it too. Way too... smiley. Things that were that smiley made her wary. He would have to prove himself somehow. And then there was another problem. "Hey, listen, don't go talking about this place, okay? It's not easy for me to find another safe spot so fast..." She glanced up at the darkening skies. Red was smog; black was storm. "And it looks like it's going to rain. I'd really rather stay dry tonight."

Meanwhile, lurking down the streets nearby, Team Electroshock was struggling with their current mission given to them from The Light. The two were given coordinates to meet up with a few scientists and act as their bodygaurds as new creature experiments were transported through the city. The problem was clear; the boys were lost. "You idiot! The coordinates said East! Not West! Great, now we're going to be late. Again." sighed Shockwave, the older of the two clad in blue. He looked up to see an abandoned building, as well as skies that didn't look very kind. "I think it's going to rain. We might need to find shelter." he sighed, looking over to his brother. Trying to keep the mood positive, Jolt grinned and lowered his goggles over his eyes.
"Last one inside the creepy building loses." "You're on, dobe." "Killjoy."
The two dashed indoors, laughing, hopping over broken peices of wood and metal. They didn't mind the dangerous creaking of the floorboards and what seemed to smell like smoke; but Shockwave had a sense that maybe they weren't alone. He skid to a hault and looked around, eyes widening when someone or something happened to catch his eye.
"U-uh... Bro. What's that?"

Creeper noted her suspicion, but didn't loose his smile. When she asked his name, he laughed a bit. That was the question so many had asked him before. He wasn't like Batman. He wasn't famous, and he liked it that way. An occasional news spot, maybe, but nothing that would make villains and people expect him. He liked being that utter surprise, breaking through the window. "... Creeper," He said calmly, keeping his eyes on hers. They were slightly mesmerizing, in an unintentionally intimidating way. They just seemed so bright and focused.
Creeper heard the skid on the window sill, but only glanced over for a moment before he was distracted by the dragon asking about who he worked for. He reached onto his hip, plucking his JLA communicator of of the brim of his shorts. "I'm Justice League. Group of meta-humans serving man-kind or whatever. Trust me, I'm a good guy." He showed it to her, pressing the top button to make the JLA logo appear. He could understand her suspicion. He didn't exactly look like a good guy. He was much more akin to a costumed freak rather than a costumed hero. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone your here if you don't cause trouble. If you really are a good guy like you say you are, JLA could help you."
With the sounds of skidding metal and unsettled debris Creeper spun. "You hear that?" His nose wrinkled as he squinted his eyes, looking exactly at where the sounds came from.
(Yey, more people~! But um, Canary, can you watch the elipses, please? ^.^; They make your post hard to read because I get distracted by the blocks of periods.)

Panting, sweat dripping down their chins, the boys hid behind a nearby wall. The two had seen a few unsettling characters and weren't certain whether or not to confront them. Gulping hard, Shockwave leaned over to take another peek, but he saw nothing. He leaned left, a loud creak eerily echoing through the room. His brother looked up at him.
"Dude. The Light did NOT say anything about creepers and freaky animals!" "R-relax, Jolt", Shockwave stuttered, trying to be reassuring "I bet it was just our eyes playing tricks on us. We're both over reacting. It might even be the scientists we're supposed to protect. Besides, boss told us that if we come across any bad guys they shouldn't be that hard to beat." Running a hand through thick brown locks, Shockwave decided to step out. Jolt followed quickly behind, but wasn't as careful as his brother and bumped into just about everything in plain sight. The elder turned to his twin and shushed him; he looked around.
Something didn't feel right.
"Doctor Minaj? Doctor Randalph? We're Team Electroshock, we're here to help you deliver Projects 9k through 9s..."
Shockwave's voice rung a bit through the corridors, almost like the dropping of a pin in pure silence. It was quiet, too quiet, and both of the boys knew someone was there. The braver and more obnoxious of the two blared out, his hands circled around his face as he yelled.
"If you're a bad guy then you're pretty chicken! Bakawk! Bakwawk! Come on out!" "Jolt! Shut up!"

Krepta averted her eyes. She felt weird looking someone in the eye on a normal day, but his eyes sent her non-existent hair on end. "Creeper..." she said, trying out the name. The dragon cracked a wry smile. "It suits you." She had the feeling he wouldn't be offended. The man seemed to revel in his weirdness. "And... I know the Justice League. We've met before..." She glanced toward the building again and could swear she heard movement within the depths. "Not here, but where I'm from. I-- I don't think they can help me." And she had no desire to expose herself to some of it's members. Her attitude towards the Justice League itself had always been a mixture of awe and contempt. Some of it's founding members though provoked a deep sense of fear in her, namely the martian, and then there was Batman. Batman had always been too adept at figuring people out, and there was an irrational fear in the shapeshifter's mind that somehow, some way, he would find out what she did. Or... didn't do. Sometimes she even wondered if she wasn't really guilty.
Krepta shivered and shook the thought away. No! She did not murder those people. She was capable of a lot, but not murder. Briefly, panic flickered over the dragon's features before she regained composure. "I'd... rather not get involved with the Justice League if that's okay with you." He had proved himself enough. She knew that communicator anywhere. She started to turn to walk back into the building when two young voices reached her ears. She hadn't caught their lurker in the window, but those teenaged shouts were unmistakeable. "Shoot," she hissed, darting back into the darkness of the complex.

He was a bit curious as to why she was nervous. If there was a JLA back where she was from, was she on their bad side? Either way, she hadn't killed him yet, or tried at least, so he wasn't planning on branding her anytime soon.
Creeper moved out of her way so that she could hide. He knew how tough it'd be if more people saw her, so he decided to take up the job of spooking people away. He heard the boys talking, then heard the calmer of the two ask for scientists. Before he could piece together what the kid was saying, the other one launched his taunt. Creeper smiled, teeth borne and all. His fingers splayed out, knuckles cracking on their own by sheer tension. "You two should leave. Now." He said in a deep intimidating voice. "Go back home and let your mom tuck you in."
"And you," He pointed towards the general area Canary was in, his ears having been focused on her for sometime. "You oughta leave, too. Hurry now, before the Creeper comes after the naughty."
(Gonna wait for Canary to respond before I post again)

Both boys looked at Creeper.
Both of them screamed.
"Okay, the boss definitely lied. I don't think we can take down this guy so easily. I mean look at him dude, the creep's wearing green underoos!" Jolt whispered to his brother, getting into his most intimidating fighting stance, or at least the most intimidating stance a small fifteen year old could get into. Shockwave kept his cool, taking in a deep breath and doing his best to analyze the situation. He took a gaze at Creeper and the surrounding area.
"Alright, I've analyzed our surroundings. We're going with a split up tactic. I'll hold out on this guy for as long as I can but I think he's hiding something. Not to mention he may be after some Canary girl; she sounds young, protect her." the taller twin commanded. His brother nodded and ran off, a spark of blue coming off of his ankle as he left the area. Shockwave looked up and gulped, trying to conceal every ounce of fear he had as he raised his fists.
" I was raised to respect my elders so I'm probably going to regret this. What are you hiding? I don't want to fight but you threaten our mission as well as what seems to be a little girl, and that I cannot forgive. I would ask you to prepare yourself." The boy charged up as much electrical energy as he could into his arms, and prepared his first attack, lunging forward with a yell.
Meanwhile, Jolt was having trouble finding Canary. "Uh.... Little girl? What was it? Candy? Camile? Coo coo for cocoa puffs? Where are you?"
((OOC: I think I'll wait a little longer for Canary as well...))

(Sorry for being a little...uh....choppy? Anyway, Sorry! Schoolwork is stupid! ) Confusion and alarm crossed over Canary's face when she realized her cover had been blown. She couldn't keep up with the movement inside when she heard the threat from The Creeper. Deciding that this was her cue to leave, she turned quickly on her toes and spotted more movement. 'I hate being human. I can't see anything!!', Canary sighed internally. When Jolt moved closer, she realized the blue-clad boy was calling her name. The air about him screamed to her, 'Be Careful!' but the 'little girl' comment ticked her off! Heeding the internal warning over her impulse, Canary jumped down from her 'perch' and landed silently on her feet. The quickest route would be to go around Jolt. 'Please don't have super hearing,' Canary silently pleaded to herself, "this is turning into a disaster!' (Again.....I'm sorry I didn't get to post until now......I know I'm pretty new so- Any suggestions? Open to anything! )

Creeper's eyes snapped into a lock on the twin who had stayed to face him. His brows furrowed, and his grin grew. "Little boys need to know when it's time to go home to mommy." He snickered, just at the right level to cause a bit of ringing in Shockwave's ears. He wouldn't hurt him too badly if he knew his place and kept away from where Krepta was. But if he persisted, he'd certainly be sore the next day. He shifted his head from side to side, sending out a bone shivering crack as he popped his neck. Creeper sank down into a fight-ready stance, crouching into a gargoyle like stance.
"I'm not sure what 'mission' you're talking about, but this is none of your business, little boy." He was interest to find out, though. That was for sure. "Projects 9-K through 9-S" had to mean something. It was cute, really. How this kid was acting all noble when he hadn't even listened to the situation, or had enough sense to know that Creeper wasn't threatening the girl, but warning her. His eyes were always fixed on Shockwaves, and finally, he growled out, "Well, come on then, kiddo."

Krepta watched silently from the shadows, but with fascination. It had been a long time since she had seen a hero in action aside from herself, and her own fighting style was considerably... unpolished. It worked most of the time, but it lacked finesse. The Creeper's act had definite style behind it. Had she been in those two kid's shoes... well, not to mention something other than toothsome, scaly, and the size of a mini van, she would have been out of there. As it was, it was probably better that she was watching right now anyhow. She watched as one of the boys charged up what looked like a glowing ball of lightening and grimaced. Electricity and her did not play nice. No, she was better off staying hidden. This fight belonged to The Creeper.
And if he hadn't convinced her earlier that he was one of the good guys, he had convinced her now. He seemed to understand that she wanted to stay hidden and was defending it. She couldn't appreciate it more. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all...

Shockwave was scared; scratch that, terrified. But hell, he was going to get this mission done and protect this little girl if it killed him. Okay, maybe not that far, but he'd still try. Looking behind Creeper he noticed some kind of being moving in the background; this instantly made him a bit angrier.
"You! You must have taken down Dr.Minaj and Doctor Randalph! I bet you've stolen the Projects too! In the name of the Light, I'm going to take you down." Shockwave frowned. He lunged forward, throwing an energy charged punch towards Creeper. His foot skid across the ground as he leapt; his form was off. He wasn't as good at hand to hand fighting as his brother, but hell he was mad. Meanwhile, his brother was encountering problems of his own.
Jolt thought he heard something drop from above, so he looked around more. "Canary? Cassandra? Please. Respond cause there's a freaky guy in a cape trying to pound my brother and I can't help him till I find you!"

Creeper sneered quizzically. "Ouch. Your cliches are killing me. What are you even talking about?" Looking over his shoulder, he saw the hallway to Krepta's hiding spot. He'd have to keep this kid out of there. If he got a good glimpse of her, then it could prove to be trouble. Then, just as he looked back, he saw the kid rushing towards him, arm extended and hand in a fist. Electricity. That didn't look comfy. Luckily, Creeper was still quick enough on his feet to dodge it, and jumped up into the air to avoid the attack. He flipped in mid-air to face the same direction as Shockwave, and on his way down, held his legs together and aimed to slam Shockwave in the back. Just hard enough to knock the wind out of him and land in on the floor, should the hit be successful.
(..."Cape"? :U)

((OOC: Jolt is kinda dumb. He thinks that Creeper's wearin' a red cape.))
Creeper hit him. Hard.
Letting out a cry of pain, Shockwave struggled to get back up; he didn't expect Creeper to be so strong. He coughed a bit as he looked back at Creeper and did his best to keep his composure.
"I guess I underestimated you. Looks like I need to step up my game." He looked around at the surroundings and noticed metal debri on the ground, backing up to gain some distance from Creeper.
Perfect.
Lifting up a few fews of shattered steel, he sent an electrical wave from his hand into the material, and as accurately as he could, he started to throw them. Shockwave was experimenting with tactics, seeing which ones would work best against his opponent. He knew that Creeper was far stronger and more experienced then him; his main goal was to buy time for his brother to return, when they could then actually stand a chance.
Or at least... A chance at an escape.

(Oh! Okay. C:)
Creeper eyed Shockwave as he backed up. Luckily, he hadn't entered the hallway in his backing away. Still, to be safe, Creeper would have to get him farther from the archway. He began to run forward, not noticing the shards being lifted until to late. He managed to dodge two of the three, but the largest shard caught him directly in the chest. A wave of electricity rushed through him, making him stumble back ward and let out a roar of discomfort. That would probably make Shockwave's ears ring quite badly.
Pulling the metal out, Creeper took a few seconds to catch his breath. Yup. Electricity was painful. He clenched his hands into fists, what previously had been a smile on his face changing to a grit-toothed sneer. Gaining composure quickly, but not healing entirely, Creeper continued to run. The wound in his chest had shrunk down by a third at this point. He reached out to grab Shockwave by the shoulder. If successful, he would launch Shockwave about ten feet away from the archway.
In that case, Creeper would reach for the nearest large bookshelf or desk and dig his claws into it, using it to block the archway, separating Krepta fromt he fight.

"It's Canary!", she responded with a light frustration in her voice. She heard the genuine concern in his voice for his brother. Deciding to step into the light behind him, she spoke softly," And I don't think the Creeper wears a cape." Canary noticed his rigid form when the sound of a fight began inside. Maybe she could find out more about him before he took off. "What's your name?", she asked with a light smile. " I like your goggles.", she said with the smile still in place. (Sorry for not being on time So busy today! )
