(Thank-you Krepta! ) Canary lifted her arms up in a mock surrender toward Krepta. "Actually, no one knows I'm here. I was just following some rumors that I've heard about this place." Canary could tell Krepta wasn't to fond of her, and it did make sense. She did just jump into her...um...living space. And maybe it was just her, but Krepta did look tired. 'Well," Canary mentally scolded herself, 'It's not like getting electrocuted is fun.' "I have seen the dragons before. Ran into them a couple times while sweeping my neighborhood. Pesky things ripped a hole in my cape, but they flew away before I could actually catch one...Anyway! Thank-you for contacting the League Mr.Creeper, I'll be sure to contact you on anything! And thank you Miss Krepta." With a nod and a mock salute, Canary turned to leave the facility. "I hope to see you both again!" With the last note, Canary leapt out of a nearby window and headed back to Gotham on her grappling hook. The wind in her face felt wonderful after all of that commotion. Nearing a small part of Gotham, she noticed what The Creeper had talked about- damaged telephone poles, small fires. 'That means one of those dragons must be around here!' With that sudden realization, Canary made a sweep of the area. When movement caught her eye off behind a bush, she cautiously moved to check. Lifting some of the bush out of the way, she saw a dragon! 'Smaller than the usual ones I see though...and...is it sleeping?!,' she thought. Reaching out her hand, Canary almost brushed the sleeping thing, when it suddenly darted away and ran into the night. "Well, so much for catching one." (I tried making it longer than my other post If you both (Krepta and Ziggbot) don't like the Mr and Miss I can change it And...the facility is in Gotham right? I can modify the- headed back to gotham part if it is..... Still open to any helpful critism )

(Don't worry about me minding how your character adresses Creeper. xD I shouldn't have control over that, and it's part of Canary's personality. C: I'm sure while Creeper's not used to being called Mr. Creeper, he wouldn't mind it. It has sort of a Alice Cooper feel to it.)

(( What Creeper said. XD Your character can say whatever the hell she likes. That's part of the fun of it all. She just can't automatically hit another character, or things like that. And yes, it's in Gotham. It's fine to keep the dragon thing by the way, but I'd be careful about using them too much. I've got some pretty specific things in mind for the long run, and ideally I want to play them individually. It's why I only have one character-- so I have the energy for plot device characters. XD It's alright to have vague posts about them though. Just clarifying some things.
And as for criticism, let me just say that that's much, much better! Bravo! It really brings the character to life. For now, really, it looks pretty good. Maybe just some little things, like, for example, grammatically, I'm pretty sure there's usually a space between an ellipse ( ... ) and the words after. It just makes things look neater. Keep up the good work! ))
Krepta shuddered visibly at the mention of the Manhunter. She knew he was a good tracker. She had been tracked for a time. In fact, she was pretty sure he would have caught up to her eventually if she hadn't been yanked to another dimension. The thought of running into him here made her blood run cold. She eyed Creeper and kept very quiet for a moment, just in case he was still on the com with him. But when had he contacted him? She hadn't heard him speak. The Manhunter was telepathic though... what if he had contacted him that way? Nervously, she glanced toward the door, wondering if she should bail now. What if he already knew about her? Eventually though, the hero in her won out. The Justice League could help, and the faster she put an end to this, the faster the innocent would stop getting hurt in all of this. Sighing, she turned back to Creeper. "So... where should we go to discuss this. The area around the Wayne tower is usually pretty secure." For whatever reason, she had noticed that there were always fewer problems around that area. It was strange, but convenient. She had had enough criminal antics for today. There was also the Watchtower. It would be going into the heart of the lion's den, and the thought terrified her, but a lot of things terrified her, that didn't mean they would stop her. If she kept her head low and her wits about her, she would be okay. "Do... you have access to the Watchtower? I'm pretty sure that's as secure as you get... Where ever we go though... I'd really prefer if we kept this between you and I... I mean, where you got the information." She grimaced a bit. "I... ah, like to stay pretty secretive."

Creeper eyed her for a time while she spoke. He saw the nervousness in her eyes, and to some extent, understood it. He had a feeling she didn't quite trust the League, which is fine. The League didn't quite trust him. He always got the feeling from them that they thought he should be at Arkham, not protecting the world. He didn't like it, but hell if he could fight it. Superman is the leader of JLA, and Superman and Creeper have a less than satisfactory relationship. Batman and a few select others trusted him though, and that's what kept him there.
"I have private quarters in the Watchtower. All I'd need to do is let one of the founders know." Batman and Hawkgirl were the ones in charge of who went aboard the Watchtower, and while Hawkgirl didn't like Creeper, she trusted him enough after his work against Brainiac and Lex Luthor. "Not sure how you'll ... uh ... fit, though."

(( Since it's pretty much just Creeper and Krepta left, I figured we can drop the posting order for now and pick it up when we need it again. ))
"You should let Batman know," was Krepta's immediate and knee-jerk response. He would keep things to himself because that's what just how Batman did things. The things he told people were on a need to know basis, and Krepta trusted him, and to an extent, even idolized him. She had practically grown up in Gotham, and for a while, he had been her hero too. He was bound to find out about her eventually anyhow, and his was one of the few mind's Manhunter couldn't easily get into, even if he wanted to. Batman didn't reveal a whole lot about himself, but the one thing he did reveal was that he was always prepared, even against friends.
The Creeper's second statement brought an uncomfortable fact though. Fit or not, a bit red dragon traipsing through the Watchtower was likely to bring unwanted attention to herself. Which meant if she wanted to help, she'd have to take a risk that she really didn't want to take. Krepta was silent for a moment, assessing just how much she could trust Creeper and fighting her own internal turmoil. There was fear in her normally fierce eyes, and for a good reason. In her dragon form she was safe-- strong. No one could touch her. And while she didn't expect anyone who called themselves a hero to hurt her necessarily, it would be all too easy to detain her if they decided they wanted to. She had come too far to lose everything on a gamble now, but she had little choice. There were things far more important at stake here than herself.
After a moment, the dragon stepped back, clearing room for herself, and swallowed hard. This was the point of no return. The change happened quickly; Krepta was nothing if not comfortable with her own abilities. Scales smoothed and flowed into pink human flesh, shrinking and remolding to fit changing bones and muscles. Hair flowed from a not yet human head, and teeth and nails dulled as she hauled herself up to a standing position. The change sounded much more painful than it was-- cracks and pops and awful muffled slurps as her wings and tail were retracted into her body. She had never said that shapeshifting was pretty, but if one could stand to look, it was fascinating. At last though, the strange chimera of human and dragon became a tall human woman, blessedly fully clothed in casual street clothes. That had been an ability she had worked on ceaselessly growing up. It was bad news to be naked in the middle of Gotham and stuck without a change of clothes. The woman-- Krepta, grimaced again and rubbed her upper arm nervously with a scarred hand. "Is this a bit better," she asked. She wasn't really worried about Creeper freaking out about her shapeshifting-- the man worked with the Martian for heaven's sake. At least she was limited in what she could change into. Besides-- heroes, at least the big leaguers, didn't tend to be squeamish. No, being human simply made her feel all together too vulnerable. While she was still a squishy homo-sapien inside, she had grown more comfortable in scaly skin then the skin she had been born with. The scars were easier to notice in this form too. Self-consciously, she tugged her sleeve lower over a particularly nasty one on her arm. "If were going up there," she said after a moment of attempting to make herself look more presentable-- it didn't work, "Then mind filling me in on what I should expect for the transport. I've... ah, never teleported before, and I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea." She looked embarrassed. "And, well, you've already seen what happens when I'm not comfortable with something." She attempted to smooth down the mess of chestnut brown static on top of her head again. Obviously she was still pretty charged-- her muscles, not just her hair, could attest to that. She would be aching for days and hoped that there wasn't any lasting damage because medical attention was well, out of the question.

((OOC: I've decided I won't have any other creatures pop up unless absolutely necessary. I think it'd be more interesting at this point to do a more League and Krepta based plot right now. ))
Of course, by the time Creeper and Krepta had left the facility, the boys were still dragging heavy experiment cases to a vaguely hinted destination. Struggling with coordinates on his phone and completely giving up on using Oogle Maps, Jolt sighed in exasperation. "Screw it," he muttered "Why is it that the Light can't have us bring things to easier to find places? Like Burger Queen or something." "Stop whining," his brother groaned back "It's bad enough that we got into trouble with those heroes, we don't need Batman listening in on your whine and asking if you need cheese to go along with it."
"Dur hur. Very funny." Jolt grumbled. The twins were close to where they had to transfer the experiments; Jolt would be excited to start a new find and capture campaign for sure, but the building they were approaching seemed awfully shady. Alex began to wonder, especially since recently his brother had become more violent during missions.
What exactly did the Light plan for these experiments? Why had my brother been acting so odd recently? Many thoughts like those rushed through Alex's head as he walked. He finally broke the silence.
"Where do you think that dragon and those other two are going now? I think they probably moved locations so not to bump into us again but," he paused "I'm sure it's someplace League affiliated. Maybe if we follow them after this we could take down one of their bases."
"That's too much work, I'd rather just chop a few heads off and run. Besides, why take down a base when you can take down the people in it and then use the base yourself." his brother argued. Shockwave's eyes widened a bit at his twin's decapitation statement, it wasn't like him to be so... Dark. Usually his brother was always bouncing off the walls and talking about saving people, but recently things had changed.
Yes, he was questioning the Light. Questioning it a lot.

Creeper watched the full transformation, mesmerized by the odd shapes and sounds. Not many things got Creeper's attention for long, but this was just fascinating to him. Martian Manhunter usually produced a low-key hum when he changed forms, and simply molded into the proper shape. This lady, however, had to actually pop things into place and change muscle, bone, and organ structures. He didn't seem disgusted at all, but he was sure that the sounds and images would give Jacka few surreal dreams. Once she was fully human, he looked her over again. Read hair, green eyes, a few scars that he only briefly saw before she hid them. Overall, not too bad looking.
He gave a smarmy whistle and grin. "That'll work just fine." With her question, Creeper paused as he worded a description in his head. "Well, I guess you could say it kind of tingles. Like you've just stepped out into a snow storm in nothing but your underwear." He knew from personal experience how that felt. "Then you get kinda floaty, and everything fades, and before you know it, you're standing at your destination. Might get a little dizzy at first, but that's why we put benches right next to the transport stations.
He rubbed his chin. "That's about it, though. If you've got migraines, you could maybe get one, but nothing major. I'll go ahead and let Batman know, then." he reached for his communicator, then paused. He let out a small laugh. "You know what, I just realized something. I never even asked your name." The thought of doing that had escaped him once the twins popped up.

(( Whatever works for you! XD ))
Krepta's eyebrows shot up at the response to her human form, and she glanced down at her self, then back at him with a perplexed, but amused expression. "Anyone ever tell you you're an odd one," she asked before moving to push the rest of her supplies into the ratty old backpack she occasionally carried around. Well, most of them anyhow. She removed two IP Profen from a little white bottle and swiftly downed them dry. There, that would take the edge of the ache. Turning back around she stuck her hands in her pockets and looked thoughtful. Well, the teleporting thing didn't sound so bad. A little unsettling, but she had certainly had worse. She could handle it. The name though-- for a moment, she reached for her new-found moniker, then shook her head a bit. He had already seen her human form. There wasn't much more he could get from a name, and she preferred her name over any false identity. Anyhow, she had already done a dozen stupid things tonight-- why not one more? "The name's Krepta," she answered, glancing up at the ceiling briefly. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of powerful alien technology was behind something that could suck you through solid objects and send you hurtling thousands of miles through space before setting you back down just fine. It was a dizzying concept, that was for sure. An amused smirk lifted the corner of her mouth and she chuckled a little. "And from your little show, I'm guessing you like to be called Creeper. You nearly made those boys pee themselves. Serves 'em right."

(IP Profen? Is that a generic title for Ibuprofen? Jus' wonderin'.)
Creeper grinned, but didn't show his teeth. He usually only bared teeth when he was trying to intimidate someone. Right now he just looked confident and maybe snarky. "I do that. Wouldn't expect it to teach 'em anything, but it was worth a shot, and it got them out of here after a while, anyway. Thanks for the assist, by the way. Luckily that'll be all Batman needs to hear before he clears you. He knows I'm good at spotting baddies, so if you've fought along side me, then it's all good."
He reached for his communicator, pressing the top button, then selecting Batman's frequency on the touch screen menu. The communicator itself looked somewhat akin to a smart-phone, like a Blackberry, almost. "Be right back." He stepped outside into the rain. It hit his skin and soaked his boa slightly, but he didn't seem to notice. Months of harsh nights in rain, sleet and snow were nothing to Creeper. He never really felt cold or hot. Must have been something about the stem cell DNA Yatz put into him that made him regulate temperature well.
It looked like he was having a calm conversation on a video com-link with Batman, guarding the communicator from rain with his hand for all the good it did. Not that he cared. If it broke later, he'd just be given a new one. A few moments passed and he walked back in. "Alright, you're clear to go up. Tell me when and I'll give the signal." He held the communicator ready. "Oh," He looked at her. "One more thing, we have to get a little closer. Teleporter works better if we do. We don't want to risk any limbs being missed, now do we?" He was obviously joking, of course.

(( XDXD That's a Krepta spelling of Ibuprofen when she roleplays before eating breakfast. So, do you want to continue here or move things to the Watchtower? ))
Krepta watched Creeper slip out of the building and into the rain to talk to the Bat himself. It was almost surreal, but then again, this entire week or so had been strange. She wondered if she wasn't in slight shock. She couldn't help but wonder-- if she didn't exist here, what was in the place of her old HQ? Did her friends also not exist? Her family? Why? Had she simply never been born? She had looked all over-- nothing, nothing anywhere. It was... unsettling. But at the same time, she couldn't help that niggling voice in the back of her mind that said, Maybe you could start over here. She knew better though. Your past always caught up with you eventually, and after all of that, how could she trust again? How could she even begin to function on a team? She had never been a team player anyhow. Maybe she could go solo? It was a lonely existence though, and few knew that better than her. Well, it didn't matter. Creeper was coming back, and saying something about standing closer. She couldn't help but look amused once more. He was certainly quite the character, that one. She bet her left foot that he drove the League crazy. "Careful you don't get too close," she said with a sharp grin that held just a flash of the dragon behind it, "Fingers tend to go missing."

(lol xD No worries. I spell by sound all the time, too. I spelt 'comfortable' as 'confortable' for the longest time. Let's be off to the Watchtowah! *60's Batman segway*)
Creeper liked her style. She was kinda like him. Caught in between being a solo hero and a team hero. He straightened up and put his hand on her shoulder, standing about a foot away from her as he hit the button on his communicator. A cylinder of light fell down around them like a sheet. It was just like Creeper described, tingling cold, then light-headedness, and then things faded. The last thing she'd most likely see would be Creeper's eyes, reflecting a bright white from the light around him. Haunting in a way, but unlike any other pair of eyes out there.
