The Dragon sat back and thought, bronzed claw reaching up briefly to scratch beneath his neck feathers. <Hnn... I... remember jungle. Thick, green jungle. And I remember statues, and others like me, but there were creatures that were different too. Some like you, but some far different. I also remember a place with lots of water. Like an island, and far spanning cities.> He shook his head and shrugged. <I remember those as my home. Or... homes. I'm not sure they're the same place. Then... I remember woods. And another of my kind, but different. A red. A little one. There was also a man in a helmet, but the red chased him off, and then I passed out. I distantly remember our battle, but it's fuzzy and faded, like a dream. The Small Ones were present too, but they ran off. That's all I can gather. I'm sorry...> He had caused so much damage, so much fear. How was he any better than the humans now? He was a monster. <I am sorry to have caused you and your kin so much damage. Perhaps... perhaps I should have let them take me...> Those great golden eyes closed in sadness, and his long emerald feathered neck drooped until his snout touched the ground, featured steeped in shame and despair. He was no better than a mere animal. He deserved to be caged and poked and prodded for what he had done.

Raiden watched silently as the dragon became consumed in guilt. His shoulders lowered from their previous rigid state, and his face softened. <This was not your fault. You were not in control of your actions. Even if you were, no living creature should have to be subjected to experimentation.> He walked over to the dragon's side, reaching out and placing a hand on his scaled shoulder. <I have even found myself to have been controlled of corrupt in my long life. I feel guilt for things I have done in my past, but I correct them by protecting the people I once put in danger from afar.>
It was true. In his past, Raiden had tried to sacrifice himself by using all of his power at once to destroy the evil Outworld king, Onaga. He did not succeed, and instead reformed as an evil force, mixed with spare remnants of Onaga's energy. All he felt then was rage. He killed whoever stood in his path, or tried to harm Earthrealm, even if they were his old friends. He could still remember those days clearly, and even thinking of them seemed to bring a shade of guilt to his face. <For now, all we can do is escape, and try to end the invasion of this mysterious force.>

" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/b]ichard nodded slowly, thinking as Shockwave spoke. A frown creased his brow and he crossed his arms, leaning back in his chair. All around them the walls were quiet, and the shop was buzzing contently with service. But Richard could focus just fine, and he was having trouble thinking of a solution himself. A smart, wise, powerful God was nothing to scoff at, and they had to be careful not to tip him off and have Raiden go somewhere even further away - like another dimension or another planet. Unless... "I can't see a demi-god like Raiden falling for something like that," he said honestly, staring at the table, "but I can't really think of anything else. Unless we can draw him away from the dragon, there's no way we'll seperate those two." He dipped his chin a bit. His thoughts swirled. Hmm... He did as any brother would do when a sibling is spouting nonsense and ignored Jolt, suprised at how unprofessional his idea was, and wondering if he had any sense like his brother did... or if one person was divided down the middle during twin-hood and Shock got it all. A smile twitched onto his lips when Shockwave smacked his brother in the back of the head. Ah, sibling love. Richard frowned as Shock asked him a question. "Maybe not a set-up, but a power pulsation might encourage him to come out of hiding - he looked a bit wiped before he vanished. He's pretty dang powerful - I can't imagine him staying in the area if he could wisk the dragon back to its home planet immediately. So if we could overload a power plant we might just be able to separate him from Godzilla. That is, if he can use electricity to charge himself back up." His frown deepened. "Or we could fake over-load. Send out a beacon, or a wave or an alert that would reach him." He suggested, putting his idea out there since he knew the boys were as good with technology as he was. The dragon raised his head again and nodded, a flash of inspiration entering his eyes. <Then I shall find a way to repay my debt. I will try hard to remember more so that we may end this threat-- to both my people and your own.> He shook his large head and growled in frustration, talons pulling up loose earth as the raked them against the ground beneath him. <If only I could remember! I'm sure I caught his scent! If I could remember it-- or get it again, I could possibly track him! But---> He sighed again, frustration turning into disappointment. <Even then, he can teleport at will. I could not track him then. And you have already tried to trail his magical signature. It's--- how can it disappear so quickly? He must have amassed a great deal of power to be able to do that.> He looked worried, suddenly. <What if he is too powerful, and we cannot defeat him? And what of those you rescued me from? Surely they will find us eventually. They are mere children. I don't want to hurt them.> What were children doing acting as soldiers anyhow? The dragon's bronze scaled brow furrowed. <Should... should they not be at lessons? Or... at home with their guardians? Why were they sent after me anyhow?> Oh, right, humans. He felt a new wave of pity and disgust for their race-- sending their children out to places where they could quite realistically be killed! The adults should be fighting those battles, not hatchlings. He sighed again and turned those luminous eyes on Raiden. <I do not understand humans.>

Fake an over load at a power plant? Now that sounded like fun. Jolt was extremely tempted to cause an actual over load of energy, but he already knew his brother wouldn't be willing. Not to mention, he knew how much the other liked to show off when it came to hacking computer systems, even if he was almost one hundred percent sure that Robin was better than the both of them combined.
"I'm all in for that idea, but how would we send out the fake distress signal? Wouldn't it be easier if me and Shocks just over pumped the thingy with electricity? Send the whole town into a over charged black out?" The elder frowned at the proposition.
"Think of the consequences. I know you still haven't done your essay for Lit and you need to have it typed. Second, think of how upset Batman would be hearing that his protege blacked out an entire city. I say we just get into the computer systems and use a safer method. Now come on, we're wasting daylight."
The boys got up giving Robin a nod of recognition before moving forward. The actual trip to the nearest energy plant wouldn't be long, but both were impatient and more than willing to get it all over with. For an instant, Shockwave wondered if they should wait until it was further into the night, when there would be less chance of being caught, but he quickly brushed the thought aside. They didn't have time for waiting. Instead, he decided to break the silence with a socially awkward attempt at conversation. "So," he stammered "is working with the big bat....uh...coolio?"
"Dude, bro. Nobody says coolio anymore."

Raiden looked at his ally with a solemn gaze. <Let us not worry about that for now. Remember what you can, I do not wish to stress the matter. There will be time to search for the entity later, but for now, we must veil ourselves from the humans. If they do find us, they will not capture us. I might have to teleport us to my temple, but it will take far less energy than teleporting to unknown lands.>
<The humans of this realm are a bit different than those of Earthrealm.> Raiden admitted. In Earthrealm, children were never seen behind the mask. Then again, adults weren't either. There were no caped heroes, only warriors and chosen protectors, all of rather mundane, while respectable origins. <Though even there, they are most confusing beings.> He calmly turned around, arms crossing relaxedly as he eyed the forest.

" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/b]ichard frowned as well. "Yes, but it might work, and right now since we don't have a lot of background on Raiden, it might be one of our only choices." He admitted. As they got up, Richard followed, eyes darting to the people around him, hoping to see no one who might come rushing up crying, "Dick! Whats up, bro?" because he was pretty sure about twenty five people he knew would do just that, even behind his sunglasses and somber demenor. And that was quite a number to look out for - especially so close to the school district. The fluid feel of his Robin costume under his clothing was strangely compelling; he felt more agile, more powerful. Now if only he could wear his mask and not be so afraid of dropping his glasses. As they stepped outside, Richard shoved his hands into his pockets. He raised an eyebrow and smiled as he was asked a question, and chuckled at what his brother had to say about it. "Interesting to say the very least," he replied. "but he's tough, no doubt about that; most of my injuries are from training, not action in the field. He's got an iron fist and an iron spine - one he's trying to make me grow." He shrugged. "Helps keep me in shape. And we're on a close level - his ways are ingrained in me in a way I'll never be able to get rid of."As they rounded a corner, Richard pulled up his mental map of the city and lead them down another sidewalk, headed for the power site. "Lets just say, I wouldn't wish this job, or give it up, for anything any world could throw at me."He finished, shooting the boys a smile. As the power plant rose above the buildings Richard carefully recalled the path through the allys that would get them there the quickest. The dragon nodded his agreement and glanced toward the forest as well for a moment. <This is so much like the world I remember... But so different as well.> He said quietly before shaking his head and turning back to Raiden with a half-bow. <Well then, Lordship, until these things come to pass and I am returned to my own world, or you to yours, I am yours to command.> He smiled a little and chuckled, shaking his mane of emerald feathers out. <I am still terribly hungry though. Do you think, perhaps, that there is game in these woods?> Those golden eyes flickered over the trees, as if a large, juicy buck might leap out and into his claws at any moment. <I'm not sure when the last time I properly ate was.> Aside from those unfortunate pets he might have swallowed up in his rampage. Mentally, the dragon grimaced. <I'd like to keep up my strength in case we have to run.>

After what Jolt would call an eternity, the boys began weaving through the city alleys, moving past dumpsters and hoards of cats in the damp, cement maze. By the thirty second "Are we there yet?", the plantation was finally close enough so that the boys could read the company sign.
Shockwave took this time to look around for how high the security was, counting fences, gaurds amoung other obstacles. "Three...four..." he mumbled to himself, keeping a watchful eye on his brother. Security didn't seem like anything they couldn't handle, especially with Robin on hand. He motioned toward the east gate and silently moved forward, being mindful of his footwork. Jolt followed, but leaned over to Robin more, trying to spot the control center for the plantation.
"Psst," he whispered "this plantation isn't Lex Corp owned, is it? Cause if baldly flips out at this, we might get in some serious trouble."
((OOC: Totally chill with me! Or maybe out of frustration when the boys realize that their plan doesn't work, Jolt does something rash. Perhaps breaking a dam?))

His fingers flew, his brain processed like lightning, and then he darkened his gadget and slid his sleeve back over it. "No," he said confidently, "an indepepdant owner has custody of this plant; Luthor tried to buy it off him in '06, but the old man is determined to keep it within his family. He put it in his will to go to his daughter Samantha. She works here as manager now that he's out of business - she might get pissed, but there's not a lot you can do to a hero unless you're big like LL." He said with a shrug. Then, pointing to the west side of the facility, he narrowed his eyes behind smoky shades. "I tampered with four different sectors of this building - they'll flicker on and off for about twenty minutes each. They're situated on the opposite side of the facility we need to get into, so all the guards will be posted around the flickering sites to protect them from what seems to be a failed break-in. We can get in and out without being seen, and give the city a power surge that'll knock out more than a few refrigerators for about an hour. That seems to be our best bet to summon Raiden. There's a side way in, according to my blueprints, completely out of sight." He turned to the twins. [[Raiden wouldn't be able to fix it because he'd be a little busy drowning in the Atlantic. xD But Superboy would be able to come and help. I'll decide what to do based on Krepta's thoughts, but I think we should give you lil' wipper-snappers some post rounds to get to us. That way we won't have to be padding in our posts. :3 Krepta? ((OOC: Why is it so hard to type with a cast on?))
Both of them nodded. The task at hand was fairly simple, and without anyone as frightening as Lex Luthor against them, they were ready to go. They both followed Robin, easily avoiding the guards at hand. Stopping at a nearby corner, Shockwave leaned over to Robin.
"Robin," he whispered "it seems like security is low. So I think a good plan would be to knock out the people behind security and control systems. Jolt and I can short circuit a few machines or you can hack the computers, depending on what's faster. We'll make a break for it and find an open area away from the public, but generally easy to spot by Raiden." Jolt listened in on the plan and decided to add in his own input; he was surprisingly smart when he actually put effort into it against his impulses.
"How about the dam?" he asked "that's pretty open and stuff, right? Also, Rob. What tools do you have? We should probably know all that we've got to work with as a team to make things easy." His brother nodded in agreement, peering over the corner one more time to check for security.
"Good observation, brother. Okay, so we have our electrical abilities and smoke pellets. From the fight with the dragon I know you have a grappling hook of sorts, but that's pretty much all I can remember." he murmured, slowly making his way to a small doorway labeled "Control room" in thick, gray lettering. He leaned his ear against the door in an attempt to listen into a conversation if one so happened to be gong on.

" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/b]ichard looked at the boys, "You two would be quicker to disengage those security circuits," he replied, peering over the wall to observe the movements. When the guards all reacted and went off to the other facility, it was less than he'd hoped - but they could still manage without too terrible odds against them. He frowned. "The dam is a bit big for our reference point - it could do a lot of damage. But it is a good back up plan. I'll keep it in mind." He hated flooding people out of their homes without good reason. For this reason, it was worth it, but not as much as he would have liked for something so big. When they did something huge, he wanted to know that, one, Batman wouldn't kill him dead if he went through with it, and two, that no one was going to get hurt or damage to the things they need. Richard thought for a moment. "I have my grappling hook, which extends most streets and to buildings easily, which you know. Then I have a boe-staff - which is a collapsible metal rod about six feet in length, and two inches thick. Mostly for close combat. My smoke bombs are tinged with a neurotoxin - but only a minor one, which usually disorientates who ever gets hit with so they can't pursue me. I have about six timer bombs the size of a mini-Frisbee that I throw by the blades on the outside edges. My computer, obviously. Steel wire for criminals. Hand cuffs(even though Batman said they were only for cops)." He tapped his chin. "I have mini-bombs like pop rocks that explode when one is set off, regular metal marbles for when I'm being chased, and a few other tools not relevant to what we're doing now. Mostly for deep-sea missions or injuries." He followed the boys against the wall where the security door was and pressed his back to it, crouched low, watching the corners for warning echoes of feet. He dialed another set-off alarm in a different chamber across the plant with his computer and made it complete to look as if it were that portion under attack. Then he squinted, watching for security men. [/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - " I'm begging you to be m y escape. Several men rushed by, none of them looked like they would make skilled guards to begin with, so instantly Shockwave lost a lot of his worries. With a sigh of relief, he signaled his brother toward the control room door. Overexcited, the younger bolted toward it, fumbling with the doorknob. He cursed, possibly a little too loud and glanced at Robin. "S'locked! Man, I kinda wish the electric powers came with a Magneto thing."
Sighing, Shockwave checked his pockets for a paperclip he could use to pick the lock. It was probably a simple one, but he wasn't sure how much time they had. He tugged at the window next to the door and checked his pockets again.
"Got it!" he said as he took out a paperclip and knelt by the door. Fumbling with the lock, he finally managed to push the door open. He hoped Robin wouldn't question why in the world they knew how to pick a lock. Jolt looked at the system controls with confusion and a bit of panic, the levers and buttons being too much for his head to process.
"Uhhh," he muttered "do I just fry everything? I am so freakin' lost, dude."
