Raiden seemed unfazed by the event, making sure to note every detail of his surroundings until they faded away, leaving them in the same place they had started. He pressed two fingers gently against his temple, either to focus, or dull a headache, possibly both. <A vision. I am somewhat familiar with that signal. I believe it is the symbol of Batman, a protecter of Gotham City.> He had only even met Batman during the invasion of Outworld, and even then, he was unsure of what the reassembling of the realm had done to the Justice League's memory. He wasn't sure whether anyone would remember him or not. He thought of the voices, trying to decipher their meaning. <The voices... are unfamiliar to me.>
For a pause, he remained silent and still, arms crossed and brow quirked in thought. <Perhaps this vision is guiding us towards a source, or another place to investigate.> He didn't have enough energy to teleport them just yet. He would need perhaps half an hour before h could manage that far of a teleportation. <Let us rest as best we can. Remain alert of the twins or any humans who may be near. I will protect you, but for now, I need to enter full meditation. I will need you to alert me, should anyone come near.>

He had scanned everything, gathered as much info as possible, and now he just wanted to get that dragon back from the crazy lightning god. There was so much research that could benefit from a dragon's DNA that it wasn't funny... also, not to undermine Raiden's methods if they were good, but the dragon was still a dragon. It needed at least a couple shackles of restraint to keep it from reacting to something and crushing a mother pushing a stroller somewhere. He sent back, On my way now, as he crawled out of the tunnel of gutters leading down to where the dragon had been fought. Clouds of dust were shaken off the boy as he patted his clothes, and he ran his fingers through his dark hair to loosen rubble and other debris he'd missed. When he was finally a block away from the burger joint, coming from back allys, he pulled jeans and a green hoodie over his outfit - hiding it entirely - and put on his sunglasses in replacement for his mask. Civilization bustled on as usual - they probably felt the shockwaves of the attack, but nobody other than the scum of Metropolis's underbelly witnessed the giant battle, thankfully - and he had figured that a hero of any kind in tights might make it difficult for him to hold a conversation with the twins. As they waited, the twins changed into their own civilian clothing. Luckily, the elder of the two was paranoid enough to bring more than necessary, so the clothing they had ripped to protect themselves from the laughing gas was left discarded. Fiddling with his T-shirt, Jolt walked back and forth past a fire hydrant, kicking it every few minutes. Shockwave took this this time to contact a few CADMUS agents for their current situation.
"Hey Cal, it's Shock. Postpone the pick up, the specimen was transported by another hero. Jolt and I have to pursue him and retrieve the lost creature, but luckily we have some help this time." he muttered into the phone, trying to keep it on a low profile. He listened to his peer groan and complain on the other line, as well as warnings and precautions he had heard a thousand times before.
Meanwhile, Jolt was keeping an eye out for Robin. He was sure that the boy wonder wouldn't just pop out in a cape and tights in broad daylight. He spotted a boy in a green hoodie nearby, but there was no way that could be the great protige of Batman. He was so... tiny. He decided to keep scanning the crowd for him, examining every teenage boy he could find.
"Shocks, do you know what Robin looks like out of his outfit? I don't even know what his ethnicity is, how am I supposed to spot him out?" he complained. His brother groaned again, and rubbed at his temples.
"You idiot, he's going to be the only one that approaches us, obviously. Not to mention finding a black haired teen walking down the streets of metropolis alone shouldn't be so difficult."

[[Wait, wait.... Robin is exposing his secret identity to two boys he's just met? D:/ I'm confused. Robin knows enough about stealth to be able to hide and sneak in broad daylight, and putting civilian clothes on over his outfit would make his physique too recognizable by them.]]

(( "...the boy wonder wouldn't just pop out in a cape and tights in broad daylight." xD He's wearing his sunglasses, just like he does in the series with his teammates. And if it wasn't a report // long conversation he probably would. But they picked a public place to meet, and he doesn't want to be swamped, or anything. ))

" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/b]ichard was lucky his uniform was so form-fitting. He had to stuff the cape somewhere he'd rather not have it, but other than that, he just looked like some kid in a hoodie... trying to hide something he just stole from an electronics store. Well, he took on the same suspicious, eye-darting posture, anyway. Before he could realize it though he'd already been looked at strangely by at least ten people. He forced his shoulders to relax, and pushed back his hood, leaning back against a cool brick wall. His sunglasses flashed in the sunlight as he ran his fingers through his raven black hair. As a position of see and not be seen, he'd taken to an alleyway beside the burger place where only someone looking for a suspicious kid would, well, look. Lucky for him he'd already met the boys and knew their height and weight by sight, or else he would have never suspected the twins of being heroes at all. They just looked like regular teen boys irritated because their dates didn't show. Richard swung into the crowd casually and stepped up to the pair - as if from nowhere, which was his stronghold. He stood unobtrusively looking at Jolt. "I know, I know," he said before the brunette opened his mouth, "I'm short." Turning to Shock, he nodded. "Your people taking it well?" He asked, somber sarcasm in his tone. The dark glasses began to slip down his nose so he pushed them back into place with his middle fingers and glanced around quickly. No specific eyes on them. Just the usual wandering curiosity of a woman on a phone, a man and his daughter in an Eclipse. Regular glances. Nothing overly calculating... though he was sure the girl in the car was looking at Jolt funny. As the sleek vehicle pulled away, so did her eyes, but a suspicion lingered in the Bat prodigy. He turned back to the twins after the moment of sweep and awaited their direction. Jolt was disappointed that he wasn't fully able to see Robin's face. Well I guess he wouldn't want to give his identity to people he just bet today. He secretly hoped that he could at least get a name out of Robin, though it was highly unlikely. Shockwave on the other hand, sighed in relief that Robin had arrived. He chuckled at his comment.
"Yeah, there's still nagging echoing in my skull. Glad to see you though. I guess for now I'll call you Rob," he reached out to shake Robin's hand and then shoved it back into his pocket. For the meantime, call my brother Z. You can call me Al." Since Robin didn't give his full face or his name, Shockwave was determined to keep both him and his brother partially concealed as well. He took out a notepad and a map, handing it to his shorter companion. "My brother and I searched the sewers with no success. Knowing Raiden's apparent racial orientation, he most likely took the dragon to a place he considers sacred. He seems to value dragons more than the life of kids." His brother was the next to speak up.
"I knew I should have put a tracking device on that lizard! Heck, I probably should have asked the boss to make us some. Knowing this guy's crazy lightning powers he could be anywhere!" he complained, kicking his feet at the sidewalk. Holding his hand up to support his chin, Shockwave thought for a moment.
"Or he could be right under our noses. Robin, do you know any protected forests in this area? Or ones that prohibit human trespassing?"

[[Okay, gonna ask for a little bit of waiting time, at this point. C: Not because of the number of posts, but because of the fact that a plot point was reached, and more action posts need to be made with Raiden and the dragon to keep things even in development. :3]]

The dragon nodded sharply, vibrant green feathers rustling softly. <I have keen ears. I will remain vigilant,> he answered, giving Raiden a sympathetic look. The human had risked his life for him, even though he had apparently rampaged not an hour before and attacked him and many others. For that, immense loyalty was deserved. Had he not rescued him-- well, he had only heard horror stories of the things humans did to his kind. As developed as they were these days-- they were still emotionally stunted, and he could only imagine the tortures they had waiting for him at the hands of their scientists were all the worse. Shuddering, he settled down next to Raiden to look and to keep a sharp ear out. Every now and then, the forked end of a thick black tongue snaked out to taste the air, searching for chemical signs of anything that was not a native animal. While he still was clouded and aching from his experiences, he wasn't tired enough to lose his training. Wait! He had had training before! He had remembered something! Training in what, though? That much was still hazy. "I think..." he said slowly, whether Raiden could hear him anymore or not. "I was a soldier. Before this, I mean. Or a guardian of some sort. I think I was a protector. In an army or organization." He shook his head and trailed off, trying to remember more. It would have been nice to know his own name...

Raiden became somewhat awake again once he hear the dragon's voice. He opened his eyes after a while more of resting, and looked to the other. He looked much more alive than before; much more charged in aura, as well. <I too sensed such qualities in you. You seemed strong, and protective.> He slowly stood, bracing himself on his knees for but a few seconds. <It is good to see that you have recovered even the slightest memories. Such things lead to chains of recollections.>
<Emotions may also have memories connected to them. Over time, I believe your memories will come back.> He took a deep breath in, then let it out swiftly, relaxing his shoulders. He turned back to the dragon, tilting his head. He seemed gentle, yet powerful, like an untamed force of nature. His eyes rested upon the dragon's own. <Do you have any other memories? Even shades of memories would be helpful to recall.>

"Al and Z it is." There wasn't a lot of determination when it came down to names. Even if assumptions were easy, it didn't always make them right. Richard sighed. "Unfortunately, even if we do find them it'll be difficult to convince him that what he's doing isn't what needs to be done, because of his other-worldly connection to dragons. In shorter terms the guy isn't going to listen to us." He crossed his arms and sat back on his heels, frowning at the map. "There's a patch close to the park on East side, but it's not big enough to house a dragon and a man made of lightning without a public uproar." He paused. "Queensland. It's pretty far off the beaten trail, and big enough for a couple dragons to hide." Then he looked back up at the twins, "We need a strategy before we go plundering in there. What angle can we use to get the dragon away from Raiden?"[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - " I'm begging you to be m y escape. The eldest of them all looked up at Robin, his expression strained by intense contemplation. That dragon was their priority, but at the same time he felt responsible for the safety of his brother and their newly found friend. Queensland was definitely the most likely location of the specimen, but the landscape was open and away from technology, placing the boys at even more of a disadvantage. He spoke up.
"We're going to need something to distract Raiden to pull him away from our lizard. He has a high supernatural and moral mindset, so naturally if we fake some kind of supernatural disaster or commotion he'll come to the rescue." Shockwave reasoned. It would give the boys an opportunity to also pull Raiden into a zone that could be worked with more easily in case combat or reinforcements were necessary. Jolt on the other hand, had less conventional ideas.
"I got an idea! We set the forest on fire! Then he'll have to go all god-man-hero and stop it and we can just call the crew down to pick up Godzilla." he grinned. Fires were cool, plus he felt as if it wouldn't do too much damage, after all in his mind, Raiden could stop it from spreading more than two feet. The other sighed at smacked him against the back of the head, ignoring the sarcastic remarks.
"That's reckless and likely to backfire. Perhaps someone more experienced might have a better plan. Anything particularly in mind, Robin?"
