During this time, Team Electroshock was having a less enjoyable time. The sewers were dingy, disgusting and it was difficult finding any traces of where the dragons may have gone at all. Shockwave's only plan was to follow a set of coordinates and pathways he memorized from Robin's scanners to find a general location of where the culprit may be hiding. It was taking longer than expected.
The boys took out a few flashlights, looking around the dark tunnels and listening for the rare scampering of claws or signs of small pipes the dragons may have scampered into. Jolt was the one who first broke the silence.
"Are we there yet?" he spouted, he always felt that the best way to pass time was by bothering his elder twin. "No." the other groaned in response. "Are we there yet?" There he goes again. "No." Another grumble of irritation. "Are we-" "We will get there when we get there! Just be patient! Now if we're right underneath Winston street then we should head West. Then we'll go up and search from there, capice?" "Yes, Mom." Jolt snickered, his brother groaning once more at his immaturity. They finally reached a ladder that would bring them right past an alleyway in the Northern part of Metropolis. They would continue their search there.
However, at the moment, Shockwave had his slight worries about the mission playing out smoothly. Especially about leaving the dragon alone for his baby brother to deal with and for Raiden to have to be alone with it. He didn't trust the reptilian creature at all. He simply hoped that the man he considered someone to respect was actually someone he could trust.

[[No prob. x3 *pat pat* There's a possibility of C.A.D.M.U.S. trying to scan the city looking for them. I have no objections to a C.A.D.M.U.S. confrontation. Besides, I think they'd be as interested in Raiden as they would in the dragon. Just give it a little bit of time so that everything can get settled, then we can figure something with C.A.D.M.U.S. out. C: I'll delete the correction posts, now.]]

The dragon found himself curious, despite his pain. This man was not human, but there were whispers that Draconic was founded on latin and in parts, the ancient written language, Sanskrit. Was it possible though, that there was an even older race that they shared kinship with? The possibilities were astounding! However, the dragon didn't get to dwell on that thought for too long, for in another moment, the strange man had his hands raised to the sky and was booming something that sounded like words of power. Magic? He had not been aware that humans could work magic. Then again, this seemed like no ordinary human if he were human at all. <I-- I cannot remember my home-- My family. I cannot remember coming here. I cannot--> He gasped as suddenly, a hundred little charges rang through his body and tingled down his limbs. And then his eyes blurred and he could see nothing but white light, though he had a strange sense of moving. Before he could panic, they were elsewhere-- a park it looked like, and the strange man was looking just as bad as he felt. <Truly amazing...> he murmured, looking around while he allowed the man a few moments to rest. He knew mages that could do wonderful things, but nothing so vast and useful as this! <Tell me,> he said after a while, <Can all human mages do this? I was not aware humans actually had enough magic in them to generate any effects besides perhaps hedgemagic.> He grimaced and gingerly laid down himself, still sore from the fight. He knew he was over exerting himself, but it was hard not to considering the circumstances. Dragons were notoriously nosy creatures. <I apologize. I would offer my name, but I seem to have forgotten it along with a great many things. Perhaps it will come to me in time. I believe I am in shock. I must thank you for my rescue, most gallant knight.> He offered a weak smile.

Raiden focused himself for a few seconds before returning his full attention to the dragon, listening to his questions. It seemed, as he listened, he became a bit amused, though still tired, looking. He shook his head. "<Though I am in human form, I am no mortal. I am as old as thunder itself, for it it my essence.>" Perhaps it would make a little more sense if he explained it in a more familiar way. "<I am a member of a species which protects and guides the fate of their sworn realms, though we are no mere Lanterns. We have power beyond what any mortal could grasp at. I am Raiden, the god of thunder, and sworn protector of both Earthrealm and New Earth.>" He bowed his head slightly.
He watch warily as the dragon grimaced, then relaxed once the he laid down. "<Thanks is not necessary. You memories might also have been locked away by whatever sorcery held you captive. I have yet to find out the actual source, but I will try my best to locate it once you are recovered and safe. I sense a small amount of residual charge from the presence on you, and I do not know how it will react to proximity, or if the sorcerer would be able to find us through it.>" He would have performed a cleansing spell, but had he tried, he'd more likely faint than finish it.
"<Forgive me, but I must rest for a few moments. My magic is weakened in New Earth, and I do not wish to over exert myself.>" He sat down cross-legged, with perfect posture and positioning. "<You require rest, as well, try to sleep. I will still be able to keep watch over you.>" He slowly let his eyes close, and soon after he began to float a good four inches off the ground, small charges of electricity coursing around him.

The dragon looked further amused. So, this creature fancied itself a god. He had heard of beings with such power, though, in their own right, they were the living embodiment of ideas and forces of nature. They were more what his people considered Nymphs and Spirits than any true god. Then again, his people were a scientific sort, and most dragons did not worship any god or goddess. There were a few, but not many. The primitive Sand Dragons might still, and perhaps the Asian lot, but the Quetzalcoatl had once themselves been worshiped as such, and in some places, still were. It tended to lend a being a sort of arrogant spirituality. He understood the concept though. He watched in quiet fascination as Raiden sat down to meditate. Did he draw magic from the air, as some vampiric mages did, or did he, like the dragons make their own source. How badly had he depleted himself for his sake? <I have... no doubt, in the last few days used very little magic. It requires...> He grimaced, <Some intelligence to use. In my primal state I have probably built up excess stores.> No doubt that was one of the few reasons he had survived their previous fight. Those very magics were no doubt slowly healing him as they spoke. <If you are capable, you may take what you need from me. I don't think it would hurt me. I, and most creatures from my homeworld generate our own magic. We could not function without it.> Then a thought occurred to him. All dragons were mages. They were taught when they came of age a chosen branch of magic-- sometimes even more than one, and used that magic for daily tasks and above for the rest of their lives. Magic ran rampant through their blood-- helped them function. Without it, they would die. Because of this, as long as they didn't wear themselves out magically, they had an endless supply. Some other mages, however, had to draw their power from elsewhere. Storms, trees, ancient relics, and sometimes even other living beings. <You said," he started slowly, <That you believe it is a mage drawing beings from my home to here. That would make sense. Could he be trying to use us to gain more power? Magically, I mean. Most of us are our own magic generators, so to speak.> It was why Dragonsbane hurt dragons so much. It was like a magical heart attack, so to speak. It blocked off important channels and deprived a dragon of magic, and thusly it sickened and often died. The possibility that the creature behind all of this could be doing the same thing to further his own agenda was a terrifying thought indeed.
(( I'm assuming since the characters are separated now we can be more lax with the posting order. ))

[[Agreed. C:]]
Raiden opened his eyes with the dragon's suggestions, smiling gratefully, but shaking his head. "<It is of no concern. I am much like your kind, and generate my own magic, as well. Though I thank you for your generous offer.>" He continued to listen. He seemed perfectly capable of recharging his energy and staying awake. It was simply as if he was waiting.
He furrowed his brow with the suggestion that the dragons might have been captured to act as magical batteries. He nodded. "<I have encountered such sorcerers in my past. Shang Tsung, a Chinese sorcerer, fed off of the magical properties in the human body, weak as they may be. He would devour his victims' souls to harvest the energy. I believe this might be different, however. I do not think this sorcerer wishes to consume you, but use you. Perhaps he is feeding off of your kind, but also using them as brute force. An army, perhaps.>" He remained quiet for a while, taking in deep breaths. With each breath, the electricity coursing over him would glow slightly brighter, then fade again. He then slowly stood up, bracing against his knee to keep his balance.
"<If I were to sense the traits of the magic the sorcerer used on you, I might be able to track it. I would need to cleanse you of that magical energy, and I warn you, it might be painful.>" It would involve him focusing and pulling the foreign magic out of the dragon. Now that he had charged for a bit, he would be able to do it, as long as he remained aware of his limits. He would have preferred to wait, but there wasn't much time before the magic faded away.

((OOC: I hope you don't mind me posting this here, but I plan not to participate in this rolepllay until Robin has placed a message. I would hate to have to post unecessary drabbles on the twins searching around for a villain that I myself have no clue about. Not to mention it wouldn't really move the story forward without Robin, unless ofcourse you would like for me to send a few antagonists after Raiden and the dragon.))

The dragon nodded. <If that is true,> he said, looking worried, <Then we are all in very grave danger, Dragon and Human both.> He shuddered. The very idea of someone turning his kind, even in their primal states, into an army was a terrifying prospect. The damage it could generate would be immense. What was worse-- what did this creature do with those creatures that he had no use for? How many had he already killed? Children, women, mothers, fathers... He could feel the blood draining from his scales. <I will do what has to be done,> he replied grimly at last. <I have known pain before. At least this pain will have purpose. Do what you must.> That didn't mean he wasn't afraid, but he wouldn't allow others to be sacrificed for the sake of his own well being. What would have to be done would have to be done and that was that. If he was lucky, some good would come out of this and they could track this monster down and stop him for good. At the least there would be one less being he could control and use to harm others. <I am ready when you are.>

Raiden nodded calmly, walking back to the dragon's side. He pressed his hands against the dragon's body, and made the connection. He waited for only a second or so, then began. It would be painful, indeed, feeling like concentrated lightening consuming various spots all over the dragon's body. They moved, as if searching, and when they found anything, it felt like a splinter of bamboo being pulled out from under a finger nail; painful, but somewhat relieving. Raiden didn't look as if he was enjoying it all that much, either. For him, it felt much more like bamboo being shoved under his fingernails. His hands shook very slightly as he drew the foreign magic out through the dragon's skin, and after a few more moments, the cleansing was done.
Raiden almost stumbled away this time, now carrying with him the magic that had controlled the dragon. It felt like an airless void in his hands, cold and sharp. "<It is done.>" He said with a heavy breath. He closed his eyes and placed his hands together, palms facing each other. Along with trying to sense any other sources of this magic, Raiden was secretly trying to keep himself in the corporeal body he had possessed. It was like trying to hang on to the ceiling with only your toes, but Raiden was certainly capable to doing it.
After he was fully settled in his body again, Raiden focused on the magic, trying to find any trails or lingering sources within the city, at least.

(( Hey guys! Wow you got far :0 any chance of a summary ? I read, but its all a bit jumbled in my head. Sorry if I'm holding anybody back - I've not gotten used to things just yet as they are ILR and we're renovating the house, so I have plenty of things to keep me away ))

[[Okay, no prob! Basically, the dragon and Raiden spoke and planned to leave before the twins could get their friends from the Light over, and they did so successfully. They're in the forest-like area of South Metropolis. The Twins are searching the sewers for any remaining tiny dragons, but haven't found any so far. They might head back out for more interaction with Robin, since Domo wanted to wait for you.]]

All this evidence might just might help point them in the right direction. He was typing out a list of what he'd gathered and the components they contained when he turned to find all his friends gone. Blinking, he lowered his wrist computer and gaped. They even took the dragon! Whether it had been the twins or Raiden, Robin had no clue, but he wasn't about to stick around and play detective anymore to try and find out. He sent out a pulsewave to search for the twins and found them... searching the sewers. He winced. Well, the dragon wasn't with them, so Raiden must have it. Then, sending out a message to them, he looked around for any trace of the dragon: 'Shock, Jolt; Rob here. Where ever the little dragons went, they're long gone - and there are a lot of sewers to search. We can dispatch others to investigate that lead further, but at the moment we have a bigger problem... In the midst of wiping sewer sludge off of his pantleg, Jolt felt his phone vibrate. He was pretty surprised that there was even connection in the sewers of all places, so he reached into his pants pocket to check the message. Lifting up his goggles and squinting his eyes at the bright light shinging off from his cell into the dark sewage tunnel, he was more than relieved to see that the message was from Robin. "Hey bro, Rob sent us a-" Son of a- Jolt nearly threw his phone into the sewage waste, only to shove it back into his pocket. He let out a strand of curses that would scare off any sailor as his elder twin looked at the message himself. Shockwave bared his teeth; he trusted Raiden and he had betrayed them. He texted Robin back. "Meet us by the burger shop on Flash Avenue." The boys headed out of the sewers, certainly glad that they weren't wearing anything particularly fancy. Looks like they would have to contact the CADMUS squad to search for the dragon, or at least to hold out until they found Raiden. This was anything but good.

The dragon shuddered and then cried out as what felt like millions of tiny lightening bolts roared through his body. Only barely he managed to keep his footing, golden eyes wide and sharp talons digging viciously into the ground beneath them. And then, just as quickly as it had begun, it was over, leaving both of them a little worse for wear. <Let us,> he said through a pained pant, <Avoid doing that as much as possible in the future, no?> But Raiden seemed to be focusing on something, and strangely, the dragon found that he could follow this focus as well. Magic, leading somewhere. Well, he supposed it made sense. This magic was as much a part of him now as it was Raiden and their quarry. He followed it with his eyes briefly, a sputtering, sparking trail of brash, neon glow. Obviously, the man had been here too. He frowned though, as the trail went up and up, and then suddenly, vanished into mid-air. <Teleportation,> the dragon snarled. <The beast can---> But suddenly, the trail was moving again. The dragon startled as abruptly, they were elsewhere. An old abandoned building of some sort, possibly an old military complex. Somewhere above, a pipe dripped maddeningly, and in the room beyond, there were voices-- male and female. Outside in the night, a great bat lit up the sky. And then the vision faded. The dragon shook himself and looked at Raiden, assuming that he had seen the same. <Do... You know this place,> he asked, puzzled. It was a strange sort of place indeed. A giant glowing bat? Perhaps outside of some strange cave, or perhaps it was a decoration for a celebrational parade? Who knew with these humans and their strange customs?
