The Valentino Mansion
Owned by Cleo Valentino, the Valentino Mansion is a large, roman-style mansion that was built in the era of Hollywood glamor. The mansion itself is white, with large arched windows, many terraces, and three levels. Juniper and magnolia trees mingle with oleander and irises on the manicured lawn. A long driveway leads to the entrance of the mansion, ending with a circular drive at the steps of veranda. A large fountain, also done in white and featuring various Greek figures, dominates this drop-off area. In the back there is a large split-level infinity pool featuring a built-in slide and miniature waterfall. The hot-tub is large enough to qualify as a small pool in it's own right, and is set off to the side, near the out-door kitchen and gazebo.
The Valentino Estate features fifteen rooms, one of which is the master suite, and five full bathrooms, with two half bathrooms downstairs. The entry way holds a large crystal chandelier and the sprawling staircase which leads to the second floor. Off of the entry way are the living room, billiards room, and ballroom. The living room and billiards room are done in shades of cream, gold and crimson, with marble floors and molding accents. The Ballroom is done entirely in white marble, and features floor-to-ceiling windows all along the outer wall, looking out on the pool and gardens. A large chandelier, the twin to the fixture in the entry, hangs in the center of the ballroom. The billiards room and living room give access to the library and "museum" where Cleo keeps all of the artifacts and 'curios' she has 'discovered' on her 'travels'. The museum is made in black marble and oak and dominated by black-velvet display cases. The only lighting provided in the museum is located inside of the display cases, to better showcase their contents. The library on the other hand, is a showcase of Edwardian design, featuring redwood and green-velvet furniture, matching bookcases, a similar desk and, of course, green wallpaper and redwood wainscoting. There is also a large formal dining room, with a table large enough to fit twenty people. This room is decorated much like the library, and is mostly decorated in the Edwardian style and in greens and reds.
Cleo's secret lair is located in the basement, accessible through the billiards room and the master bathroom. The lair is one large, warehouse style room, with sound-proof cold-concrete walls. Both entrances are guarded by rental-scanners and a pass-code, known only to Cleo. Cleo keeps all of her loot and equipment here until she can sell it, or permanently on display.
