Wallys eyes shone as he eyed the bag mentioned. "Robs, have I ever told you how awesome you are" He zipped over to and opened the bag, finding a variety of different bars, some bread, and small bricks of milk and juice. His stomach growled again at the sight. Putting the bag down on the bed so Robin could dig in without hurting his ribs, Kid flash settled himself next to his friend by the headboard.
They were silent for a moment eating. Never having had much to spare for silence Wally broke it with a "So, How are we gonna get home. Both us AND the two bikes. Cause there's no way you're driving like that Robby." He glanced at Robin. "and Why aren't you wearing pants dude?" Point KF! He mentally padded himself on the shoulder. "we could have Batman get your bike maybe?"

"I know," he said with mock-arrogance, picking up a bar of milk and bread, "what kind of friend woukd I be if I didn't pack for two?" Batman had trained him well. He munched both contently in the silence, thinking, wondering how to get home. He finished off his bread bar and bit viciously at the milk brick in frustration. Robby. He liked it. He sighed, swallowing the last bit of his milk bar. "I think we should just hook my bike to your's and have you tow me home. I can't drive, and one's not enough. Plus I would not want to leave my ride here." He said firmly. Then he took a juice bar and whacked Kid over the head with it before unwrapping the thing. "One, I didn't expect visitors, and two, what, do you still sleep in footy PJs? I'm thirteen! I lost the pajamas years ago! AND I'm a bachelor, hello. There's no chick to tell me to wear pants to bed." He said, making a face at his friend before taking a huge bite of his juice bar. "Buzz off." Then he almost choked, going into a coughing fit, then hacking, and swinging a fist out at Flash, roaring. "ARE YOU INSANE?!?!? HE'D EAT ME ALIVE!!!" Munching away on a granola bar, Wally thought about Robin's idea. Tugging the other bike home.. That might work. "yeah, let's just tug it home, Robs" He threw the wrapper of his slowly growing mountain of wrappers, and reached for a juice.
"ooohhh? So if there was someone to tell you to put on a PJ you would?" he mocked the other, " and just so you know. I sleep in sweats. That's it. Wearing a T-shirt's too warm. He reached for a piece of bread, this stuff was good, wonder where Robin got it. He chewed slower, savoring the taste and texture. The bread was just right, crispy on the outside and light and soft on the inside.
He was startled to say the least when Robin began choking in his food. Jeez, overreacting much. But he couldn't help but to smile. Robin looked hilarious when he was mad a Wally, it always made Kid Flash's day. "Aw, come on, it can't be that bad. And we agreed on you getting dragged home by me right, so there's no problem." he gave the Boy wonder a knowing look, even if Batman wouldn't kill his partner, he was sure to give Robin a bad time with training to the point where one would call it a overkill.

" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/b]ichard nodded as kid accepted his idea. Well, it was set, then. He finished off his juice bar and ran a hand through his tousled raven hair, frowning. He had bad bruises, cuts and mangled ribs. His heart sank. Batman was definitely going to be furious. He swung another fist at Wally and missed. "If they're sexy, I wouldn't argue with sticking a tomato down my pants," he cackled, kidding to the nearest extent as he chugged some more water. He was determined not to be an idiot about finding a partner - when he found someone he knew was going to be right, he was going to hang on to them the only way he knew how. The Bat way. "So you're saying you're hotter than me, Wallyworld?" He demanded. He loved to prod Walls. Swinging his leg over the side of the bed, he knelt carefully to retreive his bag and set it beside him as he sank his butt back on the mattress, pawing through his suitcase for something. "If you like those bars, go to the health section in Barksmart," he said as his friend scoffed down another one, "you might be shocked that looking in healthy things in that store, you can find something good to eat." He was avoiding talking any more of his adoptive father; there was a line there that he didn't dare come close to crossing with information, so he just skipped it. He pulled out his skinny jeans and tugged them on, lacing his belt around his waist as well. He left the sweatshirt - too much trouble for his ribs - and tugged on his black jacket over his t-shirt, leaving it unzipped. Wow, this hurt. A lot less than it should with the medication whic he was thankful for. Moving slow, he tugged on his shoes, ran a comb through his hair, and turned away from Wally to swap his mask for his glasses. Then he packed the rest away and shut his suitcase. "Throw out all the wrappers, would ya, Kid?" Rob muttered, slowly stretching his aching limbs. "We better get a'moving."[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - " I'm begging you to be m y escape. Wally nearly choked on his 3rd juice, as he laughed at the tomato comment. Damn, he wouldn't even do that fro M'gann! "Yeah, as a matter of fact I do. No one can resist this" He jumped off the bed mentioning his build body, grinning at Robin who was in the middle of changing and therefore didn't see his perfect comeback in action. The smile on Wally's face turned into a pout as he crossed his arms walking over to the window to look down on the street.
They were on 3rd floor, room 316, his bike was in the alley on the side of the hotel. All that was facts he knew. The street was a half busy one, people hurrying to work, some reading papers while waiting for the bus, other listening to music on their bikes. It seemed like a nice city. At least what he could see from the window looked nice. He shifted his gaze to the sky: clear and blue, sun high, no clouds in the small part of the horizon he was able to see. It was a nice day too, they didn't have to worry about rain on their way back.
He turned around seeing Robin fully dressed in his civil clothes. Man he wished he'd brought his civies too, his suit was getting a bit uncomfortable. "Yeah, let's go." Wally grabbed the wrappers throwing them in the trashcan, before heading for the rood, Robin's bag in hand. "Where'd you park your bike?" He looked over his shoulder at the boy behind him. They headed down the stairs, and out of the door, getting a odd look from the receptionist, who in return got a wink and a smile from the yellow of the two teenagers.

"A few scratches and bumps, I'm fine," he assured her, "though my room wasn't at all stocked. I was very disappointed in the service; not even so much as a soap!" He scolded, before following Wally outside. When they were clear of the front door he grinned. "I wonder where the dragon got off to?" He spotted Wally's bike and pointed to the cluster of trees further down the same ally way. "There. Seems great minds think alike." He chuckled. As Wally went to drag it from its hiding place Robin readied the tow on his friends bike. At least the bike was fine. All it would need was gas and a wash, probably. He kept it as nice as possible to ease any training punishment. One dent was a hundred more push ups. A crash was an hour more of everything. He shuddered in memory of his last crash. Wally clucked. Leave it to Robin to mock scold the pretty lady. "Honestly, I don't know. She sounded like she was familiar with you and Bats, might have gone to Gotham." He'd have to report this to Bats wouldn't he? Damn, it would lead to a lot of explanation of why his, well, their report contained the words Big red friendly dragon, called spitfire. The Dark Knight would not be amused.
Turning into the alley way he smiled, of course Robin had hid his bike from the world, if Robin didn't who would? He got it out and dragged it over, parking it behind his own. "So.. You should probably tie them together.. You're better with knots than I am." He scratched the back of his head, bending over to check the fuel level on his bike. "You should check of you've got enough gas too, dude. It'd suck to get stuck halfway there" Talking about fuel, he'd eaten half of his back-up energy bar last night. He'd have to stock up. He'd just take one from Robin's arsenal in the bag, he'd pay Robin back later. "You ready to go? Wally asked swallowing the rest of the bar from the night before, no need to waste food. EVER.

But she seemed to have seen him and heard a lot more of his rep than the norm - maybe she was from Gotham." He shrugged. "If we see her again, we'll ask. Then maybe she'll be able to trust us better." Rubbing his head, he wondered about her, and hoped that where ever she was, that she was kicking butt. She definitely seemed the type - and the life style. The sun was less harsh today, and the breeze was perfect, so he could imagine he'd have a smooth ride back, with no surprise weather. But that all depended on how it was up in New England. With a firm hand he latched the bikes hook to hitch, and made sure to give it a triple noose knot, one only he could unwind. "It should be OK if you tug me and I leave my bike off; it'll stay upright fine if I put down the back-up wheels, too, and then we can use my gas if you run out." He explained, dusting his hands off. Tucking his suitcase in the luggage portion of his bike, he eased onto his vehicle, grasping the handlebars and pressing the release switch behind the left one. Two small, thick wheels unfolded on either side of the back tires. Robin sat back, letting pressure off his ribs, and sighed, waving to Wally. "All set."[/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - " I'm begging you to be m y escape. Kid Flash agreed with Robin, she definitely knew them, no doubt about that. "I liked her. She seemed nice." He nodded to himself and added "she'd make a good friend in the field." The only protection they had from above was M'gann, and even with her powers, she was easily distracted if Superboy was in danger.
Wally's eyes widened a bit. "Why is it only your bike which has all the cool gadgets?" He got onto his bike, putting on the helmet and starting the engine, loving the roar of the motor as it awakened between his legs. Man he loved Batman for giving him this! "Are you ready Robby?" He roared over his shoulder, the noise of the engine as loud as ever. Just the way he liked it. He teased the gas just a little bit, loving the powerful roar bursting out from underneath him.

(No worries Ritsuka ;p)
Wally sped out of town, well over the speed limit, but who cared really? This was great! The mechine worked wonders under him, tho not as fast as he would be on his own two feet, but this feeling was different, it was entertaining, a bonus so to speak.
The landscape brushed past them as they sped out of the streets if the suburbs and onto the highway. There was little to no traffic, but that would change in a minute, once they passed the next city. Until then: room to move, room to go faster yet. At least that's what he would have done, if he hadn't remembered the Batboy on the bike behind him. He sighed a bit, a bit disappointed. "You okay over there, Robs?" He called over the communicator build into the helmet, "I'm not going too fast for you am I?" taunting his best friend was the next best thing he knew, a close second to speeding.

" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - [/b]ichard cruised along behind Wally with a strong hand and a tense back. At each turn, he was racked with pain, but nothing he couldn't handle. He kept at least one hand white-knuckled on the handlebars to steady himself, kept his feet close on the motorcycle, and became content once they reached the highway. There was a sense of peace that came with a steady buffeting. He felt the wind whipping his hair, his cheeks, his clothes, and knew he was growing mentally numb. His thoughts focused in on the black figure awaiting his return home. The Bat. Dad, mentor, boss. . . coach in life. Hero life. The knuckles on his right hand grew whiter, gripping the worn leather tighter. There was so much training and suffering and broken bones and blood Robin went through to get where he was. Circus training had meant no nets. Before that, the streets hadn't been kind. After his father there had been guardians of the streets, gang leaders that owned the city underground, forcing him to pickpocket for them. That had been an interesting escape. None of their torture had ever been as close to as agonizing as it had been training under the Bat, but then again the blows meant to hit you stopped when the beater got tired. Blows from a mechanical device meant to hit you until you got your moves right didn't stop. And Bruce's yelling was impossible to drown out; he hit true, and cut deep. As Wally spoke, he blinked out of his trance and shook his head, using his free hand to press the headset built into his glasses, "No way, Wallis," he grinned, "the quicker you go, the less I think about Bats eating me. Gas it, speedy." [/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul] - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - " I'm begging you to be m y escape. At Robin's response Wally felt a smirked creep over his lips and he griped the gas, giving it a teasing twist before forcing the machine to it's top speed. They sped past the small sports cars, overhauled trucks, wally secretly feeling the urge to moon the poor drivers. They drove in and out between traffic as Wally's bike roared under him, earning a exited howl from the speedster. He loved that feeling, the feeling of adrenaline and a turning stomach as everything disappeared behind them. "How's that Robby? Feeling the aster now?" Wally laughed into the com-link.
He soon had to slow down though: they had passed the city, and the traffic was getting more and more hectic by the minute. He checked his gas, they'd have to fill it up within the next 20 minutes or so. "Hey, let's find a gas station. Keep an eye out for a sign" He could just have asked Robin to use his holographic computer, but he figured it'd give away Robin's secret ID. Wally changed lanes to the one closer to the exit.

They took off like they were chasing tomorrow. Wally flew, passing cars, and Robin found that if he leaned into the turns, they hurt less. He grinned eagerly, glasses giving him a clear picture of the road disappearing under them. Wally's hoot made him shiver with adrenaline. Out here, there wasn't anything he had to do, or worry about. He could ignore all the thoughts of his mentor's cold words and his aching ribs and just let go - not literally, of course, because that'd suck, but you get the picture. As the pulled into city traffic the buildings rose looming and towering around them. They cast shadows over the cars, and the pair of the motorcycles, and as Robin eased back into reality, he realized they were getting some attention. "Mommy, it's Kid Flash!" A little boy squealed, tugging on his mother's sleeve. His twin sister gasped like the world had just dropped a giant chocolate bunny in Town Square as she followed his gaze. There was a girl from his school - one very close to him - staring at her book as she walked down the sidewalk, not ten feet from where he sat, incapacitated. Robin sank down in his seat. They'd have to get out of this a bit quicker than he thought, before news stories burst through, or his reputation as a normal kid at school screwed left and right over this. As Wally spoke, he nodded and pressed his intercom. "No prob; there should be one a bit further down if you take the next left. Don't look now; but we're being spotted by America's Flash fans," he chuckled. (HAHAH xD you made me laugh HARD at the 'just let go' comment ;p)
Wally turned to the right, making his way through the city, their speed remarkably slower than what it had been just a minute ago on the highway. This city was bigger than the one he and Robin had stayed in over the night, yet it was smaller than both Central City, where he and Flash was opening cans of butt kicking to the criminals, and Gotham, home of the bats. This city was just big enough for there to still be medium sized malls and enough stores to make leaving it unnecessary. The streets were filled with families, kids holding their parents hand, teenage girls giggling and people hurrying to what ever destination they were heading.
Wally heard and was it before Robin informed him of his fans, and he felt his core bubble over in warm feelings of pride, mostly because they knew his name, and said it right, but also because he was known somewhere besides his own turf: that meant that he was doing something right as the Flash's partner, that he was making a difference helping people. The yellow clad hero grinned to himself, and informed Robin that "thanks Rob." after a small pause he continued: "By the way, why are you in civvies? Won't it be trouble if someone recognizes you on the R-cycle, Robin's bike, with me dragging you along?... You could change at the gas station?" the last part was more of a question, minimal thought process behind it. He wasn't even sure if there would be a place for Robin to change if it came to that. He heard a girl squeal and saw her nudging her friend in the ribs pointing at him. She wasn't bad looking, her hair brown, its length flowing down her back, and her skirt.. well she had nice legs, let's put it that way. Wally winked and lifted a hand mentioning for her to call him, which she obviously wouldn't since she didn't have his number, but it earned him a big blush. Wally made the left turn, as Robin had told him to, and instantly saw what he was looking for, he drove in and parked, taking off his helmet, replacing it instantaneously with his mask, having had his goggles on under the helmet.
He looked over his shoulder to see Robin making a move to get off the bike, winching slightly as he did so. "hey man, you was a shoulder or something? And are you gonna change" Wally stood, as Kid Flash in full uniform, by the time he said the word man, ready to help the boy wonder if needed.
