"Sounds fun." He joked. "I'd like to hear a nice tune if I'm being eaten, at least." He held his JLA communicator up, checking the photo's of the unicorn. "Here. These are the observation photos we got. Might be a bit blurry. The thing was galloping at about thirty miles per hour." He handed it over to her so she could flip through the files. If she touched his glove in passing, he wouldn't notice, but she might notice that the gloves felt silky smooth.
Back? Back where? To the streets? Creeper looked at her for a good while, silent, trying to think. "There are other places you can go. You don't have to stay on the streets." He didn't quite understand why she couldn't stay here, but know he was curious. "... What exactly makes you so uncomfortable about the Justice League? If you've done something, I'm sure you can explain it. We've had people with problems before. Heck, Hawkgirl has a wealth of issues."

Krepta shrugged her bag onto her back, looking uncomfortable. "It's... a long story," she said, shifting nervously. She didn't have to tell him the whole truth. "It's just something I gotta work out for myself, and, ah, I don't really get along with some of your members." She pulled her shoes and socks on and wrinkled her nose at the state of them. God, she should have looked for a washing machine while she was there, and maybe a shower too. "You remember how I mentioned that dragons don't really get along with telepaths... they kind of make them... uncomfortable?" She grimace. That was an understatement, but she had more reasons to be afraid of them than your average scaly. "A long time ago I ran into a telepath that wasn't so... heroic. He was not a good man, and---" She felt her throat closing up. "--uh, he made me witness just how not good of a man he was." She swallowed hard and cleared her throat, trying to gather her resolve. "Anyhow... by the time my team found me, I was in bad shape. It took them days to bring me out of the stupor I was in, and months to fully recover. Ever since then though... they make me really uneasy." That, and the murders. Sometimes even she wondered if she had been framed or not. It wasn't unusual for her to lose control, and sometimes even black out. It had been worse when The Beast was active, but... she had never to her knowledge hurt anyone. Krepta shuddered. To her knowledge. No. She hadn't killed anyone. She-- wouldn't, couldn't. It had been Shifter under orders from Shadeslayer. It had been. "Let's just, uh, go..." she said, sounding strained. "We'll figure things out later."

Creeper had a strong feeling that there was more to it. "If you say so. If you don't want help right now, whatever." He shrugged. He didn't want to come off as cold, but he was never very good at handling things gently. He was always about as direct as a brick to the head, if not a funny brick. Maybe with some whoopie cushions taped to it. Still, he didn't want to get into it right now, anyway. They had a job to do. "Go ahead and let me know if you get anything from those pictures. For now, let's head to the teleporters." He walked over to the door.
It opened with its motion sensor, letting in the broad florescent light of the station in, as well as the sudden sound of chatter and life. He walked out, his boa shifting very slightly, seemingly of its own accord. He began to head up the hallway,t he way they came. Passing by the cafeteria, he spotted Green Arrow sitting by Black Canary, and gave them both a casual wave of his hand.

Krepta flinched and shoved her hands into her pockets. It was her own fault for opening her mouth. She knew better than that. The only person you should ever trust was yourself. So she hadn't told the whole truth. It had taken enough effort to tell even that little bit of it. "Yeah, let's just get this whole thing over with," she said dully, following him to the door. The sooner she could get out of here, the better. Being with supers again was obviously making her stupid. She was losing her edge. She set her jaw and followed him in silence, green eyes steely. When he paused to wave to the two other heroes, she lingered back, just out of sight, and waited for him to finish. No need to attract anymore attention today than was necessary. She'd help fix the unicorn problem, then get back to work. The root of this problem needed to be found and dealt with, in what ever manner was necessary. Krepta was planning on it being a painful lesson in moral values.

Creeper wouldn't say all that much on the walk over. He was quiet most of the time. It was part of why he was called 'The Creeper'. He always managed to creep up on people, whether he wanted to or not. He nodded to the teleporter technician as he passed by, stepping back onto the platform and waiting for Krepta to follow. He didn't particularly look deep in thought, more like he was just bored and waiting for something to happen.
The technician would wait calmly for Krepta to get on the platform, then set the coordinates for their teleportation. It actually took quite a bit of set up for them to make sure everything was ready, and that they weren't teleporting their heroes into the middle of brick walls. Westchester wasn't as crowded a place as New York City, but it was still New York. Smaller streets and alleys made things more tricky.

(( So would you like me to start this thing, or do you want to? XD ))
Krepta fixed the poor technician with a glower as she waited to depart and readied to shift. Likely she would need to as soon as they touched down. Unicorns were mean and fast, and really nothing to giggle at. At least it was just one though. A whole herd of them was a real terror. "It looks like one of the common breed," she said after a while of stoney silence. "The carnivorous ones are stockier, and have a lot more muscle. Plus..." she tapped the hind end of the picture's occupant. "That long, lion-like tail tells me it's one of two breeds. It could be a Ki-lin, but it's impossible to tell from this picture. If it doesn't look like your typical story-book unicorn, assume it is and watch your feet. I've seen some Ki-lin manipulate the ground when they're spooked." She was perhaps letting the occupants of the room hear a little more than she should have been, but it didn't really matter; she wasn't coming back. By the time this mission was over, she'd be so well hidden that they'd never find her unless she let them. "What exactly does the area we're going look like," she asked. It was best to be prepared. She didn't know Westchester all that well.

(You go ahead and start this time. C:)
Creeper had to think about that one for a little while. He had only been to Westchester once, and that was when Jack was on medication, so it was all pretty fuzzy. He'd just use the statistics he had, instead. "Well, It's highly populated, and has a lot of colleges. Most buildings are two stories or more, but never go about ten. Lost of parks and trees, too. Streets are thinner than say, California, but not as crowded as NYC. Not the worst place to have a rampaging unicorn, but not the best, either." He shrugged. It wasn't really that remarkable of a town.
The technician seemed to sink a bit when she looked at him, but recovered quickly enough to get everything set up in a timely manner. He signalled a fellow technician, and that technician signalled Creeper. Creeper reached over and put a hand on Krepta's shoulder for the teleport, and the energy beams formed into the same bright cylindrical tube around them.
